Poor Circulation

Poor circulation is becoming an increasingly common problem in society today as the population gets older. The most common cause of poor circulation is peripheral vascular disease and its underpinning atherosclerosis. The symptoms of poor circulation are a fragile skin, lack of hair growth and reduced or no pulse in the foot and leg. As it progresses the hallmark of poor circulation is the symptom of intermittent claudication which is the pain that develops from a lack of oxygen getting through to the muscles.
